With different Covid vaccines on the rise, it is becoming more likely that you and your employees must decide whether you want to get vaccinated or not. In the Netherlands you as an employer may not force your employees to get vaccinated. As an employer you do have the obligation to make sure that everyone can carry his or her work out safely, but this may not contradict the physical integrity that every Dutch inhabitant is entitled to. There is therefore no legislation that you as an employer can refer to in order for your employees to get vaccinated. Approaching your employees in regards to the vaccination is a delicate matter. If you are in doubt what you may or may not do as an employer, feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your possibilities.
