HR Generalist

Location: Netherlands

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to the HR team and line managers on Policy, Pay & Benefits, and IR/ER matters.
  • Maintain regular communication with staff representative bodies, union representatives, and sub-committees.
  • Assist the HR Manager in preparing for consultation meetings, collective labor agreement negotiations, and other key engagements.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, changes in labor legislation, and develop appropriate responses to ensure compliance.
  • Administer and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to all regulatory and legal obligations, while fostering operational excellence and safeguarding system integrity.
  • Manage and execute key projects, initiatives, and programs related to HR, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead efforts to align HR policies and processes with operational priorities while coordinating staff engagement activities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.
  • 10 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Proficiency in managing HR policies, benefits, and pay systems.
  • Strong experience managing staff council and union relationships.
  • Expertise in industrial relations and Dutch labor law.
  • Proven senior-level stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and sustain relationships effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge is SAP SuccessFactors
  • Advanced knowledge in payroll administration and compliance with statutory standards.
